Mr. Straggas is the former Director of Commercial Litigation for the Financial Services Group of the law firm of Lewis, D’Amato, Brisbois & Bisgaard. As an entrepreneur, he provides personalized service and consistent advice and counseling to his clients. He utilizes the latest technology in computer-assisted legal research and trial preparation techniques to ensure the best client representation.

Mr. Straggas received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1983, and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1987, where he received the American Jurisprudence award in Unfair Business Practices law. During his second year of law school, he won the McGeorge National Moot Court Best Brief award.

Mr. Straggas has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1987. He is admitted to the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and all four of the United States District Courts in the State of California. Mr. Straggas taught a course in legal writing at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and has presented programs on the American legal system in local public schools. <p<In the past, he volunteered as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Orange County Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and as President of the Greater Irvine Lions Club. Mr. Straggas serves as an arbitrator in the Orange County Bar Association Attorney-Client Fee Arbitration Program and has served as sole arbitrator, and lead arbitrator for three-person panels, on many arbitration matters since 2008. He lives in Laguna Niguel, California with his wife, Janet.
